  • Overview

    You will lead a team of data analytics experts to deliver and operationalize multiple data and analytic initiatives.  You will help shape the way business is measured, define what question should be asked, and support the development of analytics methods, tools, and best practices to support our company’s performance.  You will re-invent the capabilities that deliver the financial data and insights that improve decision making and efficient operations at scale.  You should have a strong background on understanding data sets and leveraging business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as an expert in using financial data to drive business growth across a complex ecosystem of business models, geographies, and data sources
    • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
    • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics for company
    • Collaborate across internal business partners to identify and quantify opportunities to inform financial insights and impact the business through analytics
    • Lead a team of analysts and partner with Technology to develop scalable data and analytics solutions
    • Lead cross functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
    • Manage portfolio of projects to ensure appropriate prioritization and resource allocation
    • Effectively resolve conflict, remove roadblocks, and support/lead on decision-making when critical issues arise
    • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders
    • Make sound decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure
    • Effectively lead, develop, coach and inspire a team of professional
    • Continuously improve service and results for our people and the business

    • Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
    • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence decision making through excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to articulate complex concepts in an easily understandable way
    • Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver executive-level summary updates, reports and presentations
    • Finance acumen with a focus on measurable business impact
    • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
    • Strong capability to manage complexity and multiple project streams
    • Proven ability to foster collaboration across an organization, inspire confidence and motivate groups to collectively meet common objectives
    • Outstanding collaboration and partnership capabilities are essential
    • Demonstrated ability to coach, manage, align motivate and develop direct reports
    • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources
    • Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
    • Experience with analytic tools and data visualization tools, such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Oracle
    • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrate strong listening, problem solving skills
    • Total 8+ years of professional level experiences in related role required
    • 5 years of experience in a position of monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data and at least 3 years of experience leading a team
    • Bachelor Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Econometrics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information systems, or relevant areas
