    Position Summary:

    The General Ledger Accountant is an integral role within the Accounting Department, responsible for accounting activities necessary to produce accurate and timely financial statements and analysis.  This is 3 to 6-month temporary assignment.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Maintain integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
    • Prepare non-recurring and recurring general ledger entries
    • Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledgers accounts
    • Complete daily bank reconciliation
    • Maintain cash projection
    • Provide regular financial analysis and insights
    • Assist in month end close and financial statement preparation, including variance analysis
    • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications

    Skills & Requirements

    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate and work as a team within the department, as well as outside the department
    • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office
    • Prior experience with ERP system is required, Oracle Fusion preferred
    • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
    • Strong attention to details and accuracy
    • Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
    • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or relevant accounting experience
    • 3-5 years experience in a full cycle accounting
