Position Summary:

The Business Analyst role relies heavily on your data and reporting capabilities to provide accurate and data-based information on key performance metrics.  In this role you will research and analyze business and operational information to help the company make well informed decisions, monitor movements and create future performance projections.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide insight to leadership to improve company performance
  • Cross functional teamwork with members and leaders of all departments in the company
  • Monitor company’s health through reports designed to track and analyze key performance metrics
  • Conduct analyses and provide data and information in response to requests from management
  • Develop expertise across all company functional groups to enhance ability to analyze and report
  • Work with the Business Intelligence department and program leads to design custom reports
  • Maintain a working knowledge of reporting infrastructure to perform consistent analyses
  • Other job duties and ad hoc requests as assigned

Education & Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business, finance, economics or technical field preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Technical qualifications include strong report building skills via SQL and Tableau (other similar data visualization tools acceptable)
  • Experience writing reports via SSRS a plus
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Experience creating key metric projections a plus
