As the Southern California - Training Manager at Precoa, you’ll work closely with our partners and employees. You’ll serve as a liaison between our partners and our insurance carrier, training new agents on the specifics of insurance products while also assisting with local lunch and learn programs. You will use your talents in communication to help onboard and train for our largest account in Southern California. A master at managing multiple projects and gracefully resolving issues, you’ll be responsible for making sure our partners’ needs are always met.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Create strong working relationships between both the insurance carrier and partnered funeral home
  • Act as liaison between insurance carrier and partnered funeral homes
  • Meet with and train new insurance agents on the fundamentals of the insurance products
  • Train agents on how to properly fill out and process insurance paperwork
  • Assist with the ramping up of new agents to start selling insurance
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve questions and concerns regarding insurance terms & conditions and overall coverage
  • Assist with event planning and overall event logistics
  • Track and report on program KPIs
  • Provide support and assistance to agents and field managers when needed
  • Additional duties as needed

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
  • Previous experience in a training capacity
  • Effective and engaging presenter who can effectively deliver company trainings.
  • Skilled with project management, including multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of personalities
  • High degree of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and skill in building relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with tremendous accuracy
  • Able to creatively problem solve efficiently and effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work non-traditional business hours as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle

Education and/or Experience:

  • 2+ years in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
