Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and maintain innovative and intuitive data visualizations and reports for internal customers
  • Collaborate thoughtfully with non-technical business unit stakeholders to help identify analytics opportunities, determine requirements, plan delivery, and communicate results using diagrams and presentations
  • Elicit and document accurate and thorough business requirements
  • Effectively communicate data ingestion/ETL needs to Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams
  • Work with other team members in providing clarity, prioritization, and business value requirements
  • Basic exposure to data science and machine learning methods
  • Work closely with internal customers, other analysts, and leadership to drive consistency of definitions and sourcing of industry-leading KPIs

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in data wrangling and visualization tools: SQL, SSRS, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, VBA or similar data tools
  • Fundamental and demonstrable understanding of analysis methodologies used in business settings
  • Strong data communication skills and ability to liaise between data/technology and business unit stakeholders
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to develop and schedule processes to extract, transform, and store data from SQL databases and Snowflake
  • Strength in multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Strong attention to detail with tremendous accuracy
  • Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or relevant field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience (3-5 years)
