A/P and A/R Supervisor

As the A/P and A/R Supervisor at Precoa, you’ll oversee our accounting department’s daily operations team. You’ll ensure the accuracy and timeliness of transactional data, and you’ll make sure accounts payables and receivables processes are always running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management, feedback, and assistance to direct reports
  • Ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivables subledger activity
  • Review and resolve open items on aging reports
  • Review credit card expenses for accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare weekly check runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable subledger
  • Assist in month end and year end close processes
  • Work with Staff Accountant to complete monthly department level variance analysis and OAP reconciliations
  • Manage the annual 1099-MISC processing
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team within the department, as well as outside the department
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience with ERP system is required, Oracle Fusion is a plus!
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or relevant accounting experience
  • 3-4+ years’ experience in full cycle accounting
